Pharmagraph is pleased to announce the launch of the iVAS Roam Lite, a new portable microbial air sampler designed to deliver trusted viable air sampling performance in a simplified, value-focused package.
Building on the proven iVAS platform, the iVAS Roam Lite provides organisations with reliable, EN 17141:2020 compliant environmental monitoring without the advanced traceability features required by some facilities. Designed for routine cleanroom monitoring, the new system offers the same assured sampling performance as the iVAS Roam while simplifying operation and reducing cost.
The iVAS Roam Lite has been developed for organisations operating in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hospital pharmacy, food and beverage, and aerospace sectors, as well as other controlled environments seeking dependable viable air sampling that can be easily integrated into existing monitoring programmes.
The sampler features a streamlined user experience, with the sampling screen displayed immediately on start-up for fast and intuitive operation. Users benefit from an ergonomic, lightweight design, colour touchscreen interface, and up to 8.5 hours of battery life when operating at 100 litres per minute.
Performance remains at the heart of the system. On-board flow measurement ensures that a complete 1m³ sample is collected, even when variations in settle plate fill depths affect airflow resistance, helping maintain sampling accuracy and consistency.
The iVAS Roam Lite is also designed to fit seamlessly into established environmental monitoring workflows, requiring minimal changes to existing SOPs and processes.
Through the iVAS Roam Manager App, sample records can be downloaded to a PC and managed within a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment. Users can generate sample reports in multiple formats for review and signature, export data into enVigil FMS systems, and store iVAS Roam Lite records alongside iVAS Roam RFID records within the same database. An option to use data in wider FMS systems is also possible with additional configuration.
“The iVAS Roam platform has been extremely well received by customers who value its advanced traceability and workflow management capabilities,” said Guy Turner, Commercial Director at Pharmagraph. “However, we’ve also spoken to organisations that simply want a robust, compliant and easy-to-use air sampler without additional complexity. The iVAS Roam Lite has been developed specifically for those customers.
“It delivers the same trusted sampling performance and regulatory compliance as the iVAS Roam, but in a streamlined, cost-effective package that is quick to deploy, simple to operate and easy to integrate into existing environmental monitoring programmes. The result is a highly capable air sampler that focuses on what many users need most – reliable microbial monitoring with exceptional ease of use and value.”
The launch of the iVAS Roam Lite expands Pharmagraph’s viable air sampling portfolio, providing customers with greater flexibility to select the solution that best fits their operational requirements, compliance strategy and budget.
The iVAS Roam Lite is available to order now.
